      8th ANNUAL BIG EYED BLUES FESTIVAL

      BIG EYED BLUES will present it's 8th ANNUAL BIG EYED BLUES FESTIVAL, Saturday, November 30, 2013. The festival will start with a youth workshop taught but Grammy nominated Bill Sims Jr. Children from ages 8-18 will be instructed how to make a "diddly bow". Music performance by the BIG EYED BLUES YOUTH ENSEMBLE, THE Q CITY SOUNDZ and 18 year old guitarist/singer SOLOMON HICKS. 5:30p-6:30p PANEL DISCUSSION - "The Spiritual legacy of the Blues", moderator by Yasmine Bowe-Woods, producer/host of Yazbowe Blues Cafe. Panelists will include John Hahn - Manager, Danny Draher - Guitarist, Arnie Goodman - Publisher "Elmore Magazine", Sweet Georgia Brown - vocalist and Michael Sanders - Mime/Actor. 6:30p-7:30p Complimentary Buffet / Beverages available for purchase 7:30p-11:30p THE BLUES played by BEAREATHER -event producer, The Alexis Suter Band, Michael Powers Frequency Band, The Clarence Spady Band, Johnny Childs and other special guests. The event will be held at "The Brooklyn Commons", located at 388 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11217, from 3pm-11:30pm.
