Come celebrate the rich and varied history of The Great White Way as The Town Hall kicks off the 13th season of its acclaimed BROADWAY BY THE YEAR® series. Created, written, and hosted by author/critic Scott Siegel and featuring Broadway heavyweights Brian d'Arcy James, Tonya Pinkins, Elizabeth Stanley, Kevin Earley, and Carole J. Bufford, this show is sure to be a Smash! The season begins by exploring the shows of 1937, a year that witnessed the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge, the sudden death of George Gershwin, the Hindenburg disaster and a world on the brink of war. The evening will feature songs from: Babes in Arms (Rodgers & Hart), I'd Rather Be Right (Rodgers & Hart), Between the Devil (Dietz & Schwartz), Hooray For What! (Arlen & Harburg), and more!
