His cross-functional approach brings together marketing, operations and technology to deliver integrated solutions across call center, direct mail, email, SMS, web, social and chat channels.   At Laureate, Derek led the CRM and agile digital marketing capabilities teams for Walden University, implementing Salesforce and Marketo and winning 2 coveted Marketo Revvie awards while improving lead conversion by 60%. At American Express, Derek’s team led the servicing strategy for the Platinum and Centurion cards and the adoption of Relationship CareTM and a common CRM platform for consumer card servicing in 24 countries.   Derek serves on the executive board for Rutger’s Center of Innovative Education and strategy advisor for scareyoursoul.com. He holds his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ross and chairs communications for the NYC Ross alumni chapter.
