      Tuberculosis: Then and Now

Until the early 1900s tuberculosis, or consumption, was the leading cause of death in New York City. Cathey Falvo, MD, MPH, will discuss why it was so deadly then and why the risk of a major recurrence in the U.S. still exists today, despite our knowledge of the nature of the disease. This is the second in the Museum’s public health lecture series. For tickets call the Museum at 212-838-6878.

      Cost: Payment required - 10.00
