Wagner III explores the context and combat at the famous battle of June 1876, in southern Montana, where a combined Indian force defeated the 7th Cavalry under the command of Colonel George A. Custer, including a surprising connection to St. Paul’s. Mr. Wagner is the author of, The Strategy of Defeat at the Little Big Horn: A Military and Timing Analysis of the Battle.
