      Fall Children's Garden

      The Children’s Garden sponsored by HSBC offers a fun and exciting experience where kids spend time planting, playing, observing and learning in a nurturing environment. From seed to table, our young gardeners have the opportunity to grow, harvest and cook vegetables as well as explore the environments around them.        Children's Garden is for children enrolled in Kgn-5th grade, as of fall 2019. This is a drop-off program. 5-class series on Saturdays, 2 to 4pm: September 14, 21, 28, October 5, & 12                            $22/$20 members* per class or $95 /$85 member* for 5-class series                                                  *Member discounts apply to Family member levels or above.   Children's Garden Frequently Asked Questions - REFUND POLICY If you must cancel after registering, notify the Children's Garden at 718-886-3800 x218 or sross@queensbotanical.org at least 10 full business days before the start of the program and the Garden will refund your fee, minus a $10 registration fee per child. Refunds for cancellations less than ten days prior to the start of the program will be issued only if a registrant from a waiting list will fill the space. No refunds or credits are issued after a garden program begins. Registrations are nontransferable. No discounts may be applied after your transaction is processed.   PHOTOS By attending QBG programs you may grant permission to Queens Botanical Garden to take and use you and your child's photograph and name in perpetuity, in all forms of print and electronic media used to promote, publicize, or advertise the Garden, its activities, and programs. If preferred, you will have the opportunity to opt out of photos when you register. EMAIL REGISTRATION By purchasing tickets and attending QBG events, you hereby opt in to receiving communications from the Garden. You may receive updates about future QBG events and news through the addresses you provide.
