      NJ Audubon: Turkey Talk
Family Program, led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher/Naturalist

Wild turkeys are beautiful birds. Check out their feathers and hear their calls in an indoor presentation. After a short walk to look for their favorite food, children will create a pine-cone turkey for the holiday table.

Dorothy Smullen is a naturalist and former high school science educator. She was the President of the New Jersey Mycological Association and the Northeastern Mycological Federation. She received her MA in Biology from Brooklyn College, and in 2016 received the North American Mycological Association's 2016 Gary Lincoff Award for Contributions to Amateur Mycology.
